There are couple of good sliders available like “featured content” slider, a “start/stop slider“, and “moving boxes“. Each of them had some cool interesting feature that I needed to build at the time. All were well-received, but as is the case with these things, people want them to do X, Y, and Z in addition to what they already did.

You would be aware of some sliders that change the values when you release mouse after making a drag. But this Beautiful Scriptaculous Slider does the magic and it changes the values while you drag. Its not dumb like other sliders we have seen in past.

Its pretty darned easy, but looks really neat.

This is a very good looking Flash news slider (AS3 code) which uses XML for fetching the data.

The Flash slider simply displays an image and a descriptive text with a link to the URL wanted. The slider can be controlled via the next-previous & pause buttons.
