FreeMovie is a library for generating and parsing Macromedia Flash(tm) SWF files. It is an alternative to the official Macromedia Flash(tm) (SWF) file format SDK. The author’s aim is to build a high-level API for generating SWF files in PHP and other languages, such as Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, or VB.Net.

htmlWrapper is a cross-browser compliant HTML/CSS rendering engine written in ActionScript that sits on top of your standards compliant HTML page. Wrapper eliminates cross-browser issues and makes integrating ActionScript and HTML/CSS projects possible without needing to compile.

Wrapper is currently released as a fully functional open source beta for Flash Player 9. Wrapper is set up as a pre-compiled plug-in but can easily be integrated into any Flex or AIR applications or even as an ActionScript framework for creation of compiled projects.

The power behind OpenZoom is Flex MultiScaleImage component, which is built on top of the OpenZoom framework.
Name and working of OpenZoom is Similar to Silverlight’s Deep Zoom control.
The component has built-in support for keyboard / mouse activities & supports Deep Zoom, Zoomify & OpenZoom images.
For now, OpenZoom can sound to specific, but considering its abilities & usage areas, we’ll probably be hearing more about it soon.
